The greatest concentration of tarantulas are in South America. There are a total of about 300 species of tarantulas, they each live pretty long to. They have a very long lifespan; some can even live for 30 years. The largest recorded tarantulas in South America are the Pseudotherathosa Apophysis. Some live underground while some live in trees. Leopard
These animals are strong swimmers and excellent at climbing trees. They can actually drag 3x there own body weight up a tree over 20ft high. The leopard's name comes from the Greek word leporadus. It is a combination between Leon (lion) and pardus (panthers). They live in the Sub-Sahara Africa(grasslands), northeast Africa, Central Asia, Asia, India, and China. They can live up to 12 -15 years, and 23 years in zoos. They are also a endangered species due to habitat loss and poaching. Leopards eat carcasses, baboons, antelopes, warthogs, hares, rodents, deer, pigs, and sometimes catch and eat fish and crabs. They are strong and comfortable in trees when hunting and have a deadly pounce.Leopards are very stealthy and resourceful hunters. They are very solitary, elusive, skillful predators that usually hunt at night. They are nocturnal predators that are the smallest of the big cats, being the most successful, but largest cat species to regularly climb trees.

Turtle
Turtles, perhaps the most anatomically interesting species on the planet. Its shell is what really sets it apart from the rest. Before we continue one thing needs to be clear, the shell is NOT the turtles exoskeleton. A lot of people mistake a turtles shell for an exoskeleton, surprisingly though this is its backbone. This is why when turtles get injuries to there shell they usually die. Think of it like if you were to break your backbone and ribcage, pretty bad right. Anyways, you know how turtles can sometimes live to be older than humans, well, they actually predate humans and most other reptiles like crocodiles and lizards. The sad part is though, some of the different types of turtles are majorly endangered and if we were to lose any of these animals, we would probably lose other species of animals. For example, a gopher tortoise (We're aware there not actually a type of turtle, but you'll see what we mean) these creatures are a keystone species, by digging holes for themselves they provide other animals with homes and quick get-away spots to hide from predators.
